Pelvic Floor Disorders

We perform a comprehensive evaluation of pelvic floor disorders that include fecal incontinence, i.e., leakage of stool, difficulty in evacuating bowel movements, rectocele and rectal prolapse.

Our surgeons perform anal ultrasound, in order to assess the anal sphincter muscles, as well as anal manometry, which is used to evaluate the pressures generated by the anal sphincter muscles.

In addition, we evaluate the results of defecography which is a special barium test done to help assess the size and degree of emptying of rectocele.

We provide a comprehensive set of surgical and non-surgical solutions for fecal incontinence, rectal prolapse and rectocele.
